Serving Families in Fairfield and Litchfield Counties
Chef Prepared Meals Made For You In Your Own Home
Why use ChefMeals Personal Chef Service?
Cooking healthy and tasty meals requires more time and effort than most families can afford.
Purchasing meals in a supermarket’s freezer or at ‘food bars’ in grocery stores comes at the expense of calorie counts, balanced nutrition and knowledge of the quality of ingredients used.
My weekly or biweekly personal chef service provides a healthy and fresh alternative. Home consultations ensure a tailored experience made to fit each customer’s specific needs, including food allergies and sensitivities like nuts, gluten-free and dairy.
Fresh ingredients are bought the same day.
- Locally-grown organic vegetables and fruits
- Whole grains
- All natural meats, raised without the use of hormones or antibiotics.
How Does It Work?
First, I will provide you with a free in-home consultation to discuss my service in detail. With the help of a food questionnaire, I will assess your food preferences/dietary restrictions and any food allergies (gluten-free menus and other special diets are always accommodated).
Following this meeting, I will:
- Design your personal menus. A proposed menu will be emailed to you several days in advance of your cook day and is subject to your approval.
- You may email special requests or preferences at any time and I will happily incorporate these.
- Only cook for one family per day, so I can focus exclusively on your meals for that day.
On Your Cook Day
- I will shop for the highest quality ingredients, including organic and locally-grown produce if you prefer.
- I will prepare, cook and package all meals in your kitchen. Before leaving, I will clean the kitchen, taking special care to leave it in the condition that I found it.
- All meals will be clearly labeled and placed in either the refrigerator or freezer, depending on your preference.
- You will be given a menu of all the items, including detailed cooking/reheating instructions for each item.
